Kansas City became the first team in the 2025 NFL playoffs to lose the turnover battle and still win a game. The Chiefs were -1 TO in their 32-29 win over Buffalo. It was their first TO since Week 11. Patrick Mahomes threw for 245 yards and a TD on only 26 attempts. It was his most efficient (9.346 QCYPA) performance since KC’s 27-20 win over Baltimore to open the season. If the Chiefs play like that in two weeks, they will have a good chance to win their third straight Super Bowl.
Philadelphia continued to live on the milk and honey of turnovers. The Eagles were +3 TO in their 55-23 demolition of Washington and are now a sterling +9 TO in their 3 playoff games. The Eagles ran for 229 yards and 6.36 yards per carry. More impressively, Jalen Hurts threw 28 times for 246 yards. It was the biggest blowout of Washington Commanders since Little Big Horn. If the Eagles play like that in two weeks, the Chiefs will have a hard time winning their third straight Super Bowl.
